1. Who We Are

Vidur is a workforce, attendance, payroll, and operations management system operated by PSKA ADVANCED INDUSTRIES LIMITED. Vidur accounts are normally created and managed by an employer or organization administrator. Employees use Vidur to record attendance, view work information, submit operational records, and receive work-related notifications.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide workforce and business operations features. Depending on the modules enabled by your organization, this may include:

  • Account and profile information: name, email address, phone number, employee ID, company ID, role, department, designation, reporting manager, and employment details.
  • Attendance and work activity: punch-in/punch-out time, timesheets, shifts, roster entries, leave records, visit logs, contacts, task or field activity, and approval history.
  • Location data: precise or approximate GPS location for attendance, geofence verification, live location during active attendance sessions, visit check-ins, and route/history views where enabled by your organization.
  • Photos, files, and evidence: attendance selfies, visit evidence, expense bills, receipts, documents, and images uploaded by you or your organization.
  • Financial and payroll information: salary components, payslips, reimbursements, expenses, deductions, overtime, late penalties, and payroll calculation records where the payroll module is enabled.
  • Device and technical information: device identifiers used for security, Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens, app version, operating system version, IP address, authentication/session metadata, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance events.

3. Background Location Use

Vidur may collect location in the background only when attendance/location tracking is enabled by your organization and you have an active attendance session, such as after punch-in and before punch-out. This is used to verify attendance, support geofencing, record field movement, protect against false attendance, and show live or historical location status to authorized company users.

Vidur does not use background location for advertising. Location tracking is intended to stop when you punch out or when tracking is disabled by your organization. The app may show a foreground notification while tracking is active so you know location collection is running.

4. How We Use Information

  • Provide attendance, geofence, live location, visit, expense, leave, payroll, roster, policy, and reporting features.
  • Authenticate users, prevent unauthorized access, audit changes, and protect against misuse or duplicate submissions.
  • Send work-related notifications such as attendance reminders, approvals, expense updates, and system alerts.
  • Generate organization reports, exports, payslips, dashboards, and operational analytics.
  • Monitor reliability, diagnose crashes, improve performance, and maintain service security.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for their independent advertising or marketing. We may share information only as needed:

  • With your employer or organization administrators according to their assigned permissions.
  • With infrastructure providers that support hosting, storage, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, maps/location, email, SMS, and security operations.
  • With legal, regulatory, or law-enforcement authorities when required by applicable law.

6. Firebase, Notifications, and Diagnostics

Vidur may use Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics, and Firebase Analytics or similar diagnostics tools to understand app reliability and usage. These services may process device identifiers, app events, crash traces, and technical metadata. We use this data for app functionality, security, diagnostics, and service improvement.

7. Storage, Security, and Retention

We use access controls, authentication, audit logs, encrypted transport, and server-side security controls to protect data. Some data may be stored temporarily on your device to support login, offline queueing, attendance reliability, and sync retries.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Vidur, comply with employer policies, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, maintain audit records, and enforce agreements. Your organization may define additional retention periods for attendance, payroll, location, expense, and audit records.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your role, organization policy, and applicable law, you may request:

  • Access to your personal data and work records.
  • Correction of inaccurate profile, attendance, payroll, or operational data.
  • Deletion or deactivation of your account, subject to employer, payroll, audit, tax, legal, and security retention requirements.
  • Export of data where available and legally required.

You can control app permissions such as location, camera, photos, and notifications from your device settings. Disabling required permissions may prevent attendance, evidence upload, visit, or notification features from working correctly.

9. Account Deletion Requests

Vidur employee accounts are usually created by an employer, not by self-registration in the app. To request deletion or deactivation, contact your organization administrator or submit a request at our account deletion page. We will coordinate requests according to applicable law and your employer's required record-retention obligations.

10. Children's Privacy

Vidur is intended for workforce and business use. It is not intended for children and should not be used by individuals who are not authorized employees, contractors, administrators, or business users.

11. App Store and Google Play Compliance

If you downloaded the Vidur application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the following additional terms apply:

  • You acknowledge that these terms are concluded between you and PSKA Advanced Industries Limited, and not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. We are solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • Data collected (such as location and camera usage) is strictly for core app functionality (attendance, visits) and is not shared with third parties for marketing or tracking.
  • We maintain a prominent mechanism for you to request account and data deletion in compliance with App Store and Google Play data safety requirements.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, legal obligations, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
